There are lots of ways that everywoman members can help raise vital funds for Refuge. We can each make a huge difference to the women and children who need our help. Here are some ideas:

We will be taking part in the adidas Women's 5k Challenge again this year, which takes place in London's Hyde Park on Sunday, 5th September 2010. We are raising money to provide vital support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
If you'd like to sponsor our team we'd really appreciate the support - sponsorship can be made here.
Take part in Refuge’s mobile phone recycling scheme. For every donated phone, Refuge receives £3.50.
Why not set yourself a recycling target and run a campaign in your organisation throughout the year. You could display a Refuge mobile phone 'barometer' to show your colleagues how the recycling scheme is progressing.

Challenge Yourself and Fulfill a Lifetime Ambition
Feeling adventurous? How about a skydive for Refuge! Raise the minimum sponsorship and the jump won't cost you a penny! There are over 20 approved parachuting centres all over the country so there is bound to be a centre near you.
If you want to go further afield, how about an overseas challenge? Trips include trekking in Peru or China or cycling in Cuba.

Could you and your colleagues support Refuge at work? There are lots of ways to get involved:
- Build team morale by holding an internal challenge event, for example pitch departments against each other in a sports day or hold an office olympics
- Organise a pink day – everybody to wear a pink item of clothing to match Refuge’s corporate colours, charge them a pound for the privilege!
- Promote payroll giving within your workplace – this enables employees to donate each month from their gross salary, meaning a £10 donation only makes a £7.80 difference to your pay packet! Find out more about payropll giving

Take Part in a Refuge Running Event
On top of the adidas Women's 5k Challenge, Refuge has spaces available for the London, Berlin & New York Marathons, as well as many other running events around the UK. Refuge are always looking for runners to welcome to their team and will provide fantastic support every step of the way.
Devise and host an event in aid of Refuge. This could be a masked ball, a summer gala, a themed cocktail evening or an auction. Cook a meal and invite your friends – for a price! You could also run a mini-raffle or auction during dinner to provide additional entertainment and raise money. Almost any activity can have a fundraising angle to raise vital funds for our appeal.
